Audio story, Masek rej
At the beginning of 2022 I dove headfirst into the world of slash fanfiction, above all stories from the world of Harry Potter. As time went on, I discovered other fandoms and different pairings, but even so, Snarry settled permanently at the very top of my imaginary pyramid, and from there it was only a small step to HarryLu and other combinations that don't stand on the pairing alone, but above all on the personalities and their inner dynamics.
In the Snarry CZ/SK group on Facebook, which is dedicated to this topic, I decided in May 2022 to ask whether any authors would be interested in having their stories recorded. Plenty of authors were quite excited about it, and so began my journey into audio stories (podfic). And what a demanding journey it was! Leaving aside my commitments at work and in my personal life, and the various technical possibilities and impossibilities I ran into... In the end, thanks to one wonderful member of our group, I found a great collaboration with a very kind and pleasant musician. Unfortunately it ended after Masek rej was finished, because of personal problems and the need to focus on what was happening in his life at the time. I myself had to dedicate 2025 to myself and my own personal problems. But with the new year, it's time to dive back in.
I couldn't find the file anywhere, but the author herself saved the day, because she had kept it along with the beautiful artwork she made for the video. And so here we are, and we can enjoy this lovely audio story together.
Just a heads up for English readers, the audio story is recorded in Czech. The written original is in Czech too.

I declare that the whole world of Harry Potter is the sole property of J. K. Rowling and that this story belongs to its author, FemmeFragile. The story was recorded with the permission of FemmeFragile.
The story is available here on the website or on YouTube.com. In the future I'd love to put it on Spotify as well.
Thanks
A huge thank you to the author FemmeFragile for a wonderful story and for the chance to turn it into audio, and also thank you to AdaCordella for putting me in touch with a brilliant person who not only lent the story his voice, but also took care of the whole technical side of making it. Even though our collaboration has ended, this isn't the end of podfics on my website.
I asked the members of the Facebook group Nerdi sobě whether anyone would be interested in working on podfics with me. Several people replied, so hopefully another great podfic will soon see the light of day, Zelená a modrá by Windify.
Recording, editing and production together took about 25 hours, and the cost was 5,000 CZK out of my own pocket.
If you'd like to support this project with any amount in the future, I'll be happy if you contact me by email at mimosa.confinate@gmail.com
You can look forward to more stories I've received permission for (hopefully still valid).

By day, I work somewhere between marketing, copy and campaigns; by night, I usually end up somewhere between fanfiction, cosplay and yet another “what if” that refuses to leave me alone. I write mainly in the Harry Potter and Mo Dao Zu Shi fandoms, most often Snarry, Snamione, HarryLu and WangXian. My healthcare background means that anatomy, medicine and far too much research occasionally find their way into my stories. Cosplay is another way for me to play with the characters I love, whether I stay close to canon or turn them into my own fanfiction and AU versions. In Diary of a Slytherin Girl with ADHD, I write openly about life with a brain that usually has far too many tabs open at once.
