Audio story, Seeing Without Eyes
At the beginning of 2022 I somehow wandered properly into the waters of slash fanfiction, above all slash fanfiction from the world of Harry Potter. Of course, as time went on, I got into different pairings, in other fandoms too, but in spite of everything, I put Snarry* at the top of my imaginary pyramid.
In the Snarry CZ/SK group on Facebook, which is dedicated to this topic, I decided in May to ask whether any authors would be interested in having their stories recorded. Plenty of authors were quite excited about it, and so began my journey into audio stories. And what a demanding journey it was! Leaving aside my commitments at work and in my personal life, and the various technical possibilities and impossibilities I ran into... In the end, thanks to one wonderful member of our group, I found a great collaboration with a very kind and pleasant musician. And I dare say our collaboration will bear nothing but fruit.
Out of my May call, the first story to be recorded was "Uvidět bez očí" by the brilliant author Womiska. And here it is. However, since I took quite a long time with the production, I'll be adding the story chapter by chapter, roughly once a week.
For Christmas, I decided to give everyone who loves Snarry the first six chapters at once, right under the tree on 24 December 2022. Just a heads up for English readers, the audio story is recorded in Czech.

A huge thank you to the author Womiska for a wonderful story and for the chance to turn it into audio, and also thank you to AdaCordella for putting me in touch with a brilliant person who not only lent the story his voice, but also took care of the whole technical side of making it.
Recording began on 1 December 2022 and the last chapter was recorded on 1 June 2023, so our journey took about six months and, including editing, exactly 105 hours of work.
The cost of recording the story was 21,000 CZK out of my own pocket.
